The Feed the Future Partnering for Innovation-funded AgriJoven project sought to encourage young people from the western highlands of Guatemala to get involved in agriculture. Through social media, video production, expert visits, and focus groups, Mercy Corps reached thousands of young farmers to improve productivity, skills, and confidence. Within this project, Rana Labs led the creation of a communication campaign and the professional production of more than 10 videos. In addition, we developed trainings for video production as a promotional and marketing tool for producers to promote agricultural expansion through visual storytelling and mobile technology.

A través de redes sociales, producción de videos, visitas de expertos grupos de auto ahorro, Mercy Corps alcanzó a miles de jóvenes agricultores para mejorar la productividad, habilidades y confianza. Con tecnología móvil accesible, los jóvenes aprendieron a transmitir los conocimientos adquiridos a través de medios digitales con videos producidos por ellos mismos.
This festival featured a photography exhibition, two film screenings, a dance presentation, and a poetry reading in Guatemalan Sign Language on the activities being implemented in-country. The objective was to integrate people with sensory disabilities in Guatemala into the activities, in order to promote the first steps of inclusive and integrated art in the country.
Enseñarte, fue un festival que inició con una exposición fotográfica, dos muestras de cine, una presentación de baile y una lectura de poesía en Lengua de Señas de Guatemala. El objetivo fue integrar dentro de las actividades a personas con discapacidad sensorial
en Guatemala, para buscar promover los primeros pasos del arte inclusivo e integrado
en el país.
